Over 200 LCA students enjoyed the wisdom and advice of Tony Heard, the Managing Director of Abintegro at our latest Student Society guest lecture on the 6th March.

With standing room only, the audience enjoyed Tony's experiences of working with Human Resources managers across all industries, giving tips and advice on how to get ahead in the race for a top job.

Tony's top tips included:

* Your CV is critical, spend time and get it right and adapt your CV to the job.

* Networking is the key to opening doors

* Preparation is vital, know the business and the industry

* Look beyond the household names for that perfect career move

Surrounded by a host of eager students at the end of the Event, Tony gave some personalised advice, with the students leaving inspired and motivated.

Tony Heard started life as an accountant working with PWC before launching the hugely successful careers management system at Abintegro. Abintegro works with many leading Universities, recruitment agencies, and business intelligence organisations including the Open University, Leeds Metropolitan University and ICAS to provide a one-stop careers service.
