LCA Top Achievers Awards Ceremony
Top performing students from across the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes gathered on 21st February to celebrate their success, with their guests and senior faculty members.
In front of a large and vocal audience, the top performing student in every module was invited to collect a certificate of Achievement from the Dean, and so have their excellence formally recognised.
Top Achievers included:
* Charles Jandreau who is a Top Achiever for the third consecutive term, scoring 84% in his Audit and Assurance module on the second year of his degree.
* Callum Tasker who set the standard on the Business in Context module on the new MSc Business and Management programme.
* Nosheen Imtiaz who was the Top Achiever in two MBA modules this term.
The awards ended with the presentation to the assembled audience of First-Class degree students; those undergraduate students who completed their courses in December 2012 with an average mark exceeding 70%. With seventeen presented, this was a clear indication of the high performance achieved across the Business School.
"The tremendous performance of all the students here today shows the excellent calibre of our student body. We want every student to strive to become a top achiever. These students before you are the business leaders of tomorrow, so this Event is a wonderful opportunity to recognise their potential." Dave Sexton, Dean of LCA
